Michele Who?
My name is Michele Martino. I am a Life Enrichment Coordinator at the Carolina House of Asheboro and everyday I get to serve people and assist them in obtaining their maximum quality of life. It’s really the greatest job ever! I belong to an amazing church called Awaken City Church located in Greensboro, NC and I really believe that God is waking up His people in these days. I love being part of the worship team and leading with the youth group, OFY (On Fire Youth). The one thing I want to do with my life is love people- mostly those people that are considered “unlovable” by the world. The reason I want to do this is because though the world may consider then unlovable, Jesus knows they are beautiful. I think that Jesus had the ability to see, hear and speak with His heart as opposed to His eyes, ears and mouth and I pray the same for myself. Do you know that you are beautiful? Do you know that you have a great destiny? Do you realize that you have something worth living for? Jesus wants you to trust Him with your life— all you have to do is accept His offer and go.
I enjoy talking about God and His Creation, drinking coffee and hot tea, going out to dinner with friends, reading, hosting parties and get-togethers, walking around New York, planning events and special occasions, swing dancing, singing and musical theater, cuddling with my kitten, Oliver, traveling, making a difference, being child-like, watching certain types of movies, being on the beach, and, most importantly, doing all things that glorify my Father.
